AN ORIGINAL CUSTOM-DESIGNED DEL WEBB HOME

Built in 1996, this house was designed to fit the lot in order to maximize the view of the famous Catalina Mountain range. The current owner is a family descendant of the original owner, who had built the house with customized features and layouts. As you enter through the sunlit foyer you immediately are presented with a fabulous view of the mountains! The living and dining open floor plan has an expansive row of windows at the rear of the house, bringing in so much light at certain times of the day, you can't help having to close the UV solar shades.

Wake up to the sun rising over the mountain in the master bedroom, through the largest window in the house. Have your morning coffee on the side patio's bistro set while gazing at the mountain or sun yourself on the cushioned lounger. Get into a Zen state while washing the dishes as you peer at the mountains from the kitchen sink window. It really feels like you are on vacation in this house, so you can do nothing but relax and enjoy your visit.

THE HISTORY + FEATURES OF THE HOUSE . . . WITH  A VIEW

The original owner of the property had selected this particular lot from Del Webb's subdivided desert suburban community plan for construction in 1995. The house which sits on higher ground, is elevated 30 feet above a natural wash area and looks over the rooftops of other homes in the community. It ideally faces east, directly toward the Catalina Mountains. Not one of the various model homes provided by Del Webb would properly fit this irregular pie-shaped lot. Therefore, the "Kensington" model was chosen by the owner to be re-configured to accommodate within the property lines.  After three iterations, Del Webb agreed to build the house to the some of the features of the revised "Kensington" plan.  As a result, there isn't another house lay-out like this one in Sun City. Not only is the open plan unique, but it maximizes the views through the rear windows like no other property in the development.
